Lunch was a premade sandwich with a bag of chips. Not a complaint, but be aware that it's not a buffet.
We loved our morning with Makana Charters! The staff is knowledgable and Rob is a great captain on the ocean. The best way to see the Na Pali Coast is from the sea and Makana Charters did not disappoint!
My wife and I️ were in Kauai for our honeymoon and we booked this tour because it was highly recommended. While the actual tour and the crew were very nice, they do allow very young children and apparently even 10 month babies to get on the boat for a 5 hour tour. The unattentive parents let their 6 kids run around the boat screaming and yelling for the entire trip. Needless to say, as a newlywed couple, this is not trip we had in mind when we booked the tour. If you want a quiet tour of the Nepali coast this is not the tour for you.
Marvelous trip up the Na Pali coast. I would have preferred more Snorkeling time, yet would not have wanted to miss any of the fabulous scenery. The deckhand was knowledgeable and informative about the history and culture of the area.
There are a lot of companies that arrange tours of the Na Pali coast and Makana was perfect. The guys on the boat are very knowledgable and skilled handling of the boat. They provided a lot of information of the area, great food/drinks on board, an overall amazing experience! Thanks
